I am currently the Lead Pastor of Northwest Community Church in Phoenix, Arizona and also the founder/teacher of Sound of Truth radio. Before coming to NCC, I was a teaching pastor at Scottsdale Bible Church in Scottsdale, AZ and at Santa Cruz Bible Church in Santa Cruz, CA. My wife Stephanie and I have been married for 13 years and we have two sons named Ethan and Christian. I have a bachelors degree in Journalism from Arizona State University and a Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Communication from Phoenix Seminary. I enjoy reading old books, writing articles for newspapers and journals, listening to jazz or folk rock and sipping a good cup of coffee over a newspaper. My “must read” books include Lectures on Preaching by Phillips Brooks, Back to Virtue by Peter Kreeft, Knowing God by J.I. Packer, Roaring Lambs by Bob Briner and just about anything by Eugene Peterson.
