About

I am the Teaching Pastor at Bethany Bible Church in Phoenix, Arizona. Before that, I served as the Lead Pastor at Northwest Community Church and as a Teaching Pastor at Scottsdale Bible Church and Santa Cruz Bible Church. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Arizona State University, a Master of Divinity degree in Biblical Communication from Phoenix Seminary, and am currently working toward a Doctor of Ministry degree in Philosophical Theology from the Talbot School of Theology. I am an avid speaker and writer with interests in apologetics and virtue ethics. I am a published journalist, internet blogger, radio teacher, and regular lecturer on matters of faith and culture. I have been married to my wife Stephanie for 15 years and we have two sons named Ethan and Christian.
